The Apprentice Programs
Our apprentice programs provide advanced training for some of America's most talented and dedicated young opera singers and theater technicians. Following two or three summers as program participants, many move on to work at opera houses, theater companies, and in film or television, thanks to the skills and the professional relationships they have developed here.
Apprentice singers receive voice lessons, repertory coachings, lessons in movement and diction, and performance opportunities in mainstage roles as well as the ensemble. They also audition for opera managers and agents from around the world.
